# mashin # https://mashin.live ## What this site is mashin.live is the home of mashin: the medium for governed intelligence. mashin is a platform for building deterministic, auditable intelligent systems. Three products: the native app (macOS, iOS), cell (a user-owned mashin environment), and the CLI. ## What mashin does mashin lets you build AI machines by describing what they should do. A machine is a governed unit of intelligence that thinks internally and acts externally through a controlled boundary. Every effect is mediated by governance, every decision is recorded, and every execution can be replayed. ## Key concepts - mashinTalk: a compiled domain-specific language for AI workflows. Programs produce intents, not effects. Ungoverned effects are inexpressible by construction. - Governance kernel (Kore): extracted from machine-checked Rocq proofs. 618+ theorems, 0 admitted. The executing code is the proved code. - Behavioral ledger: append-only, hash-chained execution record. Every governance decision is tamper-evident. - Intent-driven computing: the paradigm. Programs produce intents, not effects.
